Engineering Support

At LTD Material, we don’t just manufacture parts—we solve problems. Our engineering and technical sales teams are hands-on partners throughout the entire product lifecycle, from prototyping to production ramp-up and process improvement.

Whether you’re developing a new tool, reverse-engineering a legacy part, or looking for a second-source alternative, we’re here to support you with the knowledge, precision, and responsiveness that set us apart

Prototyping & Design Optimization

We specialize in turning complex concepts into reality—often fabricating components others said “could not be built.”

  • Support for low-volume prototyping and small-batch builds
  • Expertise in both clear and opaque quartz, as well as machinable ceramics (ideal for rapid iterations)
  • Full design-for-manufacturing reviews to evaluate drawing accuracy, critical features, and material selection
  • CAD simulation and modeling using AutoCAD™ and SolidWorks™
  • Drawing creation or refinement offered as a FOC (free-of-charge) service

Second Sourcing & Copy Exact Support

Redundancy matters. We work with customers to provide exact or improved versions of existing parts—minimizing variability and ensuring process continuity.

  • Experience transferring production from other suppliers
  • Ability to reverse-engineer components from physical samples
  • OEM-certified parts and materials available when specified
  • Process matched to meet or exceed current quality standards

Process Improvement

Our technical team brings cross-industry knowledge and in-fab experience to help customers:

  • Reduce wafer defects
  • Extend Mean Time Between Maintenance (MTBM)
  • Improve yield and throughput
  • Lower total cost of ownership (TCO)

We work closely with customers to understand the root challenges of a part’s performance in the fab—and then recommend material, design, or process improvements that deliver measurable results.

CMM & Drawing Services

Need updated or missing part drawings? LTD Material can generate precise dimensional data and technical documentation using advanced CAD tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs).

  • Custom or modified drawings for internal use or shared with customer
  • Fully dimensioned documentation that reflects process-critical tolerances
  • Ideal for undocumented parts, custom builds, or design changes
